Cut a Record (Literally)

Sillyette makes these silhouettes by cutting old vinyl records. These would be great to frame and hang on a wall! She also creates earrings and pendants with her silhouettes.

I think these would be great for custom orders (I'm not sure if she does them - ask!). You could find the record your parents first danced to, or used at their wedding, and have a silhouette of their faces made with it. Or if you've named one of your children after a certain song (or know someone who did), you could find the vinyl for it and have their profile made! A custom guitar one would be great for the musically-inclined person in your life. You could get their favorite guitar model recreated in vinyl, maybe even using the song that inspired them to start playing.
