



Anna Malsberger writes about seed pods and their dispersion methods in her "Botany Blueprint" column for
Imprint. Her fascinating and informative articles are accompanied by incredible, close-up photos of the various pods. The ones shown here hail from
wisteria,
sweetgum,
California flannel bush, and
oleander. (Don't the latter ones look like soft, golden plumes?)
It seems like we only notice the flowers and leaves of plants, but I know I'll also be looking at the seeds from now on!
