Back from Vacation
I've returned from my little trip across the pond to Dublin and London. In Ireland, we took a short detour to Howth to hike the sea cliffs. It's only 20 minutes from Dublin on the train, and you get sights like this! I highly recommend trying out their multiple hiking trails for yourself if you're in the area. It was our favorite part of our vacation.

Back from Holiday Vacation
I've now returned to the blog - and my Etsy store - after a very restful Christmas break. I hope all of you had some wonderful holiday moments and meals with your loved ones, and I'd like to wish you a very happy and healthy 2013! May the coming year be filled with nothing but good tidings and joy for you and yours.
More tutorials and some peeks at my holiday decor from December will be posted this week!

The Emerald Isle

Whenever fall weather arrives in New England, with its misty rains and brisk breezes, I'm always reminded of Ireland. I've been lucky enough to explore Dublin, the Wicklow Mountains, and the Ring of Kerry, but I can't wait to go back some day and see even more of this beautiful island.
What does autumn remind you of?

Back from Farm Country!

I did take photos of the charming farms, though, with their red barns and shining silos. I also couldn't resist a pic of this unique local warning. I must admit, it's a little surreal for this city girl to see a "Watch for Buggies" sign right next to a McDonald's one!
Have any of you ever been to Amish country, or have any farm pics to share?
