Amazing Night Photography by Scott Lanphere

This photo of Big Ben was my background for months last year, and now Scott Lanphere has even more incredible night shots to choose from in his gallery!

It's amazing how well he captures the lights glowing in the dark velvety night. The contrast of shadow and streetlights (or moonshine, as in the top photo) really draws you in and makes you notice every little detail. I also really love the blur that the fog creates in the London photo!

See more of Lanphere's photography here.

Secrets of the Deep

The ocean's depths have always fascinated me - so many strange creatures and sights under the churning, blue waves.

I Must Go Down to the Sea Today

After weeks and weeks of rain, the weather here is just starting to get warm. For the past few days, I've been chomping at the bit to go swimming! I've missed diving into the cool water, and being rocked by the gently rolling waves.

My sea fever only got worse once I came across this beautiful photo by Green Island Studios. I'd love to walk along this vast beach, exploring the tide pools between the rocks and watching the sun set on the horizon. It'd be a perfect end to the day!
