Just a little snap of the "Queen of May" - the magnolia! Blushing rosy pink fading to creamy white in giant petals that slowly unfurl to their true glory and beauty. A favorite.

Sun on Leaves

Autumn's Fire

I took this photo today of a maple tree's leaves turning lovely shades of gold, orange, and scarlet. Autumn foliage is always so beautiful!

Autumn Apples

One of the best parts of autumn is all the apples at the farmers' markets! These are Shamrock apples, which were created by crossing McIntosh and Golden Delicious varieties.

They taste like sweeter Granny Smiths to me, and are one of my favorites this year. If you see them in your area, I suggest you buy one and see what you think!

On Vacation

Just a quick note to let you all know that I'm on vacation until next week! Hopefully I'll see a lot of views like the one above. Can't wait for open space and scenery!
