Blog Name Change!

Just a quick note to say that I've changed my blog name. 3LambsStudio has become Flourish & Wink to better describe my design aesthetic. I try to add those little extra details that give designs just that extra something to my work, and of course I always try to include a healthy dash of sass and wit to make them memorable and fun!

My Etsy store has also changed its name. 3LambsGraphics is now 3LambsIllustration - again, just more descriptive of what I actually do!

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend. It's supposed to warm up here, so if I'm lucky there might be some grilling and crocus-watching strolls in my future!

New Prints in the Shop

I've been hard at work stocking the store with brand-new prints in time for the holiday season. I've already added the pieces above, and more are coming every week. It's exciting to finally get ideas out of my head and out on paper.

Oh, and more Audrey prints are coming as well. Those are always very popular! There's also free domestic shipping and discounted international shipping in my shop until November 24.

Just a quick note that my shop is now closed for the holidays. A big thank you to everyone who visited and purchased from my shop, and to all of you for reading my humble blog! I really do appreciate everyone who takes the time to support handmade art and small businesses. I hope you all have a wonderful holiday season, filled with everything you love and everyone you hold dear! (And lots of snow - if you don't hate shoveling, that is!)

I'll still be blogging here during the next few weeks, but I'm also planning on taking a spin around the Frog Pond, making gifts and cookies, and drinking my body weight in hot cocoa!

I'll have some handmade projects up soon, just in time for Christmas. I promise they'll be lovely but easy. No impossibly-perfect, time-consuming Martha crafts here!

(Although I do adore her website...and magazine...and books. Okay, I'll admit it, I secretly love her too.)

DIY Terrariums, and A New Piece

I've been wanting more greenery around the house as the last of the leaves fall and the view from the window becomes brown and gray. Unfortunately, I'm not very good with indoor plants. (They never seem to get enough sun, and I don't always remember to water them regularly.) Terrariums seem to be a perfect solution, as they can self-water for days.

These diy versions from Katy Elliott and DesignSponge are easy to make and beautifully emerald, cushioned with moss and dotted with whatever you find in your own backyard!



On a side note, I've begun adding new prints to my store in time for the holidays. This is my most recent one, "Surround Yourself with Love", hand-drawn and then layered with color! I've also posted holiday deadlines.

New City Series

I've added a new series of city-themed prints to my shop. Vintage images of London, New York City, and Paris decorate the backgrounds while a mix of vintage and script fonts proclaims, "A Bad Day in {City Featured} is still better than a good day anywhere else".

These prints were inspired by my love of travel. We all have favorite places, and favorite cities. When we're there, whether visiting somewhere close to home or somewhere thousands of miles away, life just seems easier and the days are rose-colored. Even a bad day in a favorite place is better than a good day somewhere else!
